EVERY SINGLE MANHEIM AUCTION AND ANY AUCTION WHO IS ALLOWED TO SELL VIA MANHEIM, IS ALLOWED TO CHARGE WHATEVER THEY WANT.
THERE IS NO SET FEE, NO SET %. IT’S A FREE FOR ALL. NO FEE LISTS ARE AVAILABLE. You would have to call each auction individually for that information prior to purchasing. Who has time for that but that’s the name of their game now isn’t it.
There is a: BUYER SUCCESS FEE, BUY FEE, SIMULCAST FEE AND BUYER VEHICLE CERTIFICATION FEE (This last fee is a fee the SELLER pushes to the buyer for stuff like CRs-but doesn’t say what it’s ACTUALLY for, no details)
BEWARE OF THE DOUBLE CHARGE AS WELL.CHECK YOUR INVOICES!
ADDITIONALLY: Manheim will take a car back YEARS AFTER THE SALE with little to NO INVESTIGATION and force the seller to eat it, stand your ground, present your evidence, hold them accountable as well.
I had a vehicle at our lot that I needed a CR on. I called Rome Auto Auction and set up an appointment. The rep who came out to us was very knowledgeable, professional and performed the CR quickly. I will definitely be calling them again.
