COMPLAINT FILED 10/12/2026
Michael AJL
SUBJECT: CRIMINAL FELONY REPORT / BOND CLAIM #106972041 – PROPERTY THEFT BY PRINCIPAL
“Attn: Dan (Division Manager) / Luke Haldeman
Please be advised that an official criminal report has been successfully logged with the Scottsdale Police Department against your principal, America’s Auto Auction Phoenix (AA Auctions), under Tracking ID: 1963-M8743.
As documented in the system and the attached manufacturer listings, the vehicle asset was unlawfully liquidated while containing my personal professional livelihood: one (1) Rupes BigFoot LHR 15 Mark V Polisher ($552.00) and one (1) Rupes BigFoot LHR 21 Mark V Polisher ($565.00). The total value of stolen property is $1,117.00. Under Arizona Revised Statutes § 13-1802, the theft and conversion of property exceeding $1,000 constitutes a Class 6 Felony.
My pending civil lawsuit in the McDowell Mountain Justice Court (Case #CC2026-2092) is already maxed out at the $5,000 statutory limit for the vehicle down payment and trade-in fraud alone. Therefore, the criminal conversion of my $1,117 in detailing tools represents a separate, distinct loss under your commercial auction bond liability.
Travelers Insurance has already blown past its state-mandated 30-day investigation window under Arizona Admin. Code R20-6-801. I have copied your corporate dual-bond conflict of interest directly to Consumer Analyst Barbara at the Arizona DIFI.
To resolve this separate felony property theft matter outside of court and prevent further escalation with state regulators, Travelers must issue a direct check in the amount of $1,117.00 to replace my stolen professional equipment immediately.
Sincerely,
Michael”

America’s Auto Auction Phoenix – Dispute Over Personal Property in a Vehicle
I am extremely disappointed with how America’s Auto Auction Phoenix handled a vehicle that allegedly contained my personal professional equipment when it was sold or liquidated.
The equipment included:
One Rupes BigFoot LHR 15 Mark V Polisher valued at $552.00
One Rupes BigFoot LHR 21 Mark V Polisher valued at $565.00
The total value of the equipment is $1,117.00.
These tools are essential to my professional work. I believe they were not properly accounted for before the vehicle was sold or liquidated, resulting in the loss of my equipment.
I have reported the matter to the Scottsdale Police Department under Tracking ID 1963-M8743 and am pursuing the appropriate channels to address the loss. I also have a separate pending civil case involving other disputed aspects of the vehicle transaction.
I am seeking reimbursement for the missing equipment and a clear explanation of how the vehicle was handled and what happened to the property inside it.
My concern is that personal belongings should be properly accounted for before a vehicle is sold or otherwise disposed of. I expect America’s Auto Auction Phoenix to take this matter seriously, review what happened, and provide a fair resolution.
This remains an unresolved matter, and I am seeking accountability for the loss of my professional equipment.
