We recently tested the waters with a soft announcement of our start-up, Auto Auction Review through a few LinkedIn posts on my personal page and an email sequence to my existing dealer network.

The response was overwhelming.

The President of one of the largest groups in the United States was on the phone with me almost immediately. It’s not just the little guys

It was clear that our concept struck a chord with dealers across the board. The signups came in fast and furious, and we found ourselves quickly pivoting to adjust our marketing strategy.

But then, we hit a roadblock.

We received word from our attorneys that someone had challenged our trademark application. They filed a complaint for a conflicting mark, paid for the application, and tried to claim the mark themselves.

The intent was clear: disrupt our momentum and stake their claim on what we’ve worked hard to build.

After some digging, we uncovered who filed the complaint. While I won’t name them—though it’s all public record—I can will it was an influential, multi-location auction house that everyone knows.

This action didn’t deter us.

It steeled our resolve.

This challenge only validates what we’ve been saying all along—things need to change. This is a classic David vs. Goliath scenario, and in this case, all dealers are Davids…Regardless of size

Our mission is simple: foster transparency, limit favoritism and cronyism, and advocate for every dealer—big or small.

The rules and processes that auctions create and profess to enforce are often subjective, bending when convenient to favor their own conversion rates and profits.

This isn’t just unfair…it’s unacceptable.

So, I’m asking every dealer who reads this to join us. Visit our website, sign up, and leave a review—good or bad.

We’ve recently opened up the ability to review and rate auctions

We have experienced staff ready and waiting to assist/advise you with any challenging arbitrations

Simply visit the website AutoAuctionReview (dot) com and quickly register

This service is, and always will be, FREE to any dealer in the United States and Canada

Together, we can shift the balance, challenge the status quo, and create a more equitable process for all.

Let’s make the industry better, one review at a time.

Remember

Review . Rate . Resolve
